Luke chapter 21 beginning at verse 25, “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars and on the earth distress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring. Men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectations of those things which are coming on the earth for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.“
In these verses Jesus speaks of a time coming to this world, maybe sooner than most of us would like it to. Buildings will collapse, fortunes will be lost, and the future will have no bright horizon.
2 Peter chapter 3 verse 11 says in part, “Since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be?” I suggest as Christians, that if we care for the people of this world, we should be a people of prayer. We should be asking God to give them life, light and a future in heaven. We should.
It’s time to pray!
