Will We?

Luke chapter 16 and verse 26, “And besides all this, between us and you there’s a great gulf fixed so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot; nor can those from there pass to us.“

This passage of scripture speaks of the eternal separation that will happen at the end of time between those who know Christ and those who don’t. As the man in this story did, I wonder how many voices in eternal lostness are crying out for you and I to warn their families of what awaits them without a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Knowing today that these voices are real, will we speak to those who are still lost but can be saved? Will we pray that their hearts be opened to truth and the mercy of God? Will we?
