Luke 15:10 Likewise, I
say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over
one sinner that repenteth.
Had you rather have a person mad at you, or, happy with you? Some
studies have shown that a happy person might live longer because they
don't have the stress to worry with.
You have met folks that seem to be mad at everything and everyone.
They tend to talk evil, spread gossip, and even think evil of people
they don't know. Our Bible teaches us to avoid that type people.
Saved folks should be happy our sin is forgiven and we have a place
with Jesus!
Some saved people think that once they accept Jesus and are saved,
then, they don't need to repent of anything else.
Dear Christian friends, there are two types of people; lost sinners
and saved sinners. We all sin every day. We all need to repent of any
sin the Holy Spirit brings to our remembrance.
Just think, if repenting of people brings joy to God's angels, how
joyful Jesus must be. Jesus is the one that forgives sin, and accepts
the sinner's repentance.
Oh! That we would long for and desire a better and deeper
understanding of the love of God toward us. We then could show a
different love toward others.
